Changed over to ABC6

Postby OldBaldGit on Wed Dec 05, 2007 5:37 pm

We started using ABC about 1990, and I'm getting to retiring age and not looking for chnage. But Sandra download a trial copy of ABC6 and persuaded me to try it and after a very short time I love it. Just letting you know we've changed everythign over and didn't need to retype anything. The new reports are so much cleaner and easy to read.

Did you really not have ANY problems changing over? I have used DOS ABC for so long that my fingers can press the keys without me thinking. I am not sure I can be bothered to learn new ways of doing things unless there is a good benefit.?

No problems. And although it doesn't tell you anywhere, most of the keystrokes from old aBC versins still work the same. Don't take my wordfor it, d/load the demo and play with it yourself.

A bit late, but I just want to say we changed over to ABC6 without problem and now we cannot think of the reason we did not change years ago. Much better program than ABC5.
